Scott Hardy is a senior partner at Brentwood Financial Partners and helps clients plan for retirement, children's education, and ensuring a legacy for their heirs. Scott joined the team in 2011, coming from UBS, where he worked with clients and specialized in financial planning for individuals and business. Scott graduated from Clemson University with a degree in political science and a business administration minor. In his spare time, Scott likes to coach youth soccer and basketball and work with the youth at Brentwood United Methodist Church. He is on the Board of Directors at Monroe Harding, Inc., a member of several community organizations, and involved with the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Scott lives in Nashville with his wife, Andrea, and their daughter, Caroline.
After getting his degree from Clemson, Scott spent several years consulting with political campaigns and helping them to organize data, maintain voter lists, and raise money. Many winning campaigns asked what they should do with campaign funds until the next election cycle. Through this experience, Scott came to realize that his calling was to help individuals achieve their financial goals. In 2003, he worked to gain his licensing and registrations for investments and insurance and began helping families plan for retirement, children's education, and estate concerns. Scott has also achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification. Scott believes in using efficient, effective, proven long-term solutions to help clients achieve financial security.
"I am driven by the opportunity to celebrate with clients as they reach each of their financial goals. That moment when a client realizes they have paid for college or structured their estate efficiently is the reason I love my job."
